Bass Lake

Bass Lake is situated in the Sierra National Forest  in Madera County, California approximately 14 mi from the south entrance of Yosemite National park  at an elevation of 3415. Established in 1895 as Bass Lake Village , The community group up around the newly created Bass Lake Reservoir . The sapphire waters surrounded by towering pine trees makes this a popular vacation spot year-round. Amazing hiking trails offer beautiful views of Bass Lake and the surrounding Sierra National Forest. There is shopping at the Pines Village and dining at Ducey's on the lake, the Forks Resort, Miller's Landing and Casa Velasco .
